Re-Live Waste
Sereco Biotest participated in the “Re-Live Waste” research project funded by the European Institutions as part of the Interregmed measure, collaborating with prestigious research centers including the University of Sassari, the Cyprus Technological University, the University of Sarajevo. In the context of the project, 4 scale pilot plants were set up in real industrial environments for testing the SERMAP process for the removal of nitrogen from waste wastewater and its recovery as a crystalline saline precipitate containing nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium and organic substance (STRUVITE) bearing a valuable fertilizing value
