ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
Environmental sampling and analysis
Laboratory analyses are of fundamental importance to establish the environmental impacts of human activities, the compliance with the environmental standards set out by current regulations and the effectiveness of the environmental mitigation measures implemented, including the use of water and air treatment plants and soil and groundwater reclamation procedures. Sereco has a long-lasting experience in carrying out chemical and bacteriological analyses of environmental matrices and related sampling by resorting to advanced analytical equipment and a vast network of partner laboratories. In this way Sereco is able to satisfy the widest range of customer requests. Chemical and bacteriological analyses are carried out on the following matrices (non-exhaustive list):
• Chemical and bacteriological analysis of:
– Wastewaters
– Groundwaters
– Drinking and mineral waters
– Gaseous emissions with stack sampling in isokinetism
– Airborne pollutants
– Atmosphere
– Solid and liquid wastes
– Manure and anaerobic digestates
– Polluted soils
– Crop soils
– Fertilizers
– Asbestos in massive and airborne samples
– Verification of functionality and efficiency of drinking water systems, including domestic ones (filters, chlorinators, softeners, reverse osmosis, UV lamps, ozonizers, etc.)
• Technical equipments
– Spectrophotometry
– Multidetector gas cromatography
– Atomic absorption
– Ionic chromatography
– HPLC (fluorimetric and DAD)
– Sampling stations for air pollutants analysis in real-time isokynetism
– Personal samplers
– Microscopic station
